O-Cymen-5-OL (or Isopropyl Methylphenol – IPMP) is a preservative. (Preservative) and highly antibacterial.
Commonly used in cosmetics, skin care, shampoo, and oral care products. Helps stop bacteria, fungus, and the cause of acne (C.Acne) safely. It has the appearance of a white crystalline powder. Very soluble in oil and alcohol. Usually used at a concentration of 0.05-0.1%.
